A Texas food manufacturer has recalled some taco dinner kits sold in Aldi , Giant, and Martin’s stores because they were packaged with cocoa mix packets instead of taco seasoning, posing a risk to people with milk sensitivities .
Teasdale Foods, Inc. announced the recall on Oct. 25, according to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) notice. The company stated that the recalled Martin’s and Giant Crunchy Taco Dinner Kits, as well as its Casa Mamita Soft Taco Dinner Kits, were sold in 28 U.S. states.
The kits may contain undeclared milk, which increases the risk of a life-threatening allergic reaction for individuals who are allergic or severely sensitive to milk, according to an FDA notice published on Oct. 28.
