LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — Two women were arrested in Lakeland on Monday, one of them the executive director of Hope House in Bartow, after being accused of sexual cyber harassment.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, 36-year-old Kristina Taylor and 36-year-old Tara Johnson distributed sexually explicit images of a man without his permission.
The investigation began on Oct. 26, when deputies discovered that the victim's ex-girlfriend, Taylor, and her friend, Johnson, found out he was dating someone new.
PCSO detectives said that Johnson told them she had concerns about the victim's character, so when she found out he had a new girlfriend, she reached out to the woman via Facebook and the two began exchanging messages.
