We love getting into the festive cheer and there is no surer sign Christmas is on the way than when the lights and displays start to go up in the city centre.

But with the decorations going up earlier and earlier every year, one much-loved restaurant might just be setting a trend by putting theirs up – two weeks before Halloween.

If you've been in town of late, you might have noticed that La Vita George Square's brilliant (and colourful) Christmas decorations have gone up.

Arguably one of our favourites, the restaurant that sits on the corner of Queen Street and Gordon Street has a stunning display with baubles, presents and candy canes.
