PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - No one was injured after an early morning fire at a Peoria home Wednesday.

Peoria firefighters were called around 4:15 a.m. to a fire at a home at the corner of Frye and Atlantic avenues, finding a one-story home with heavy fire at the front.

The home was boarded up with plywood and hard to access, forcing firefighters to force entry.

Firefighters found heavy fire on the main floor at the front of the home.

The bulk of the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes.

No one was found inside.

A Peoria fire investigator and arson dog Molly determined the cause of the fire to be arson.

The house is a total loss, estimated at $50,000.
