GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) -- First responders, including firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, paramedics and 911 dispatchers, were honored in Greenville during a National First Responders Day event held Tuesday.
The event held at Fluor Corporation celebrated the dedication and service of first responders, recognizing their critical role in the community. Organizers emphasized the importance of acknowledging those who are always ready to assist in emergencies.
"We want to express to our employees that we are all just one heartbeat away from needing any one of these services at any time," said Fluor facilities director Luke Bell, highlighting the essential nature of first responders.
