KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee's high school sports authority unveiled a new online video archive that will let former high school players over the decades relive their glory days, including those from schools that are no longer around.
The TSSAA digitized more than 1,100 historic video tapes from a massive VHS collection of championship games from the late 1980s to the early 2000s and made them available to watch on its website at this link. It said roughly 400 more videos will eventually be added.
"The VideoSports archive is more than just a library of old games. It’s a gift to every player who ever wore a jersey, every parent who ever cheered from the stands, and every fan who remembers the roar of the crowd," TSSAA said. "It’s a testament to the vision of those who knew, decades ago,
