KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Housing supply in Knoxville continues to be a big issue, and new developments are popping up to hopefully alleviate that issue.

The two different kinds of developments are middle housing and infill developments. They're two different kinds of developments, but they're both making a difference in helping make homes more affordable and bringing more people to Knoxville.

"The city of Knoxville saw that there was an opportunity and a real need both present within the neighborhoods to create more housing and that's really what's beginning to happen," Ben Bentley, Knoxville's Community Development Corporation CEO, said.
