NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A pothole forced about 30 tires to be changed on Interstate 40 East in Davidson County on Wednesday morning, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
TDOT reports that a pothole opened on I-40 East in the second lane between Mile Marker 208.6 and 208.8.
Responding crews changed approximately 30 tires, according to TDOT.
“Operators also patched the pothole. Crews will return to apply a better, stronger fix to this issue,” the department shared.
