CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Some road closures and traffic interruptions are expected in Clarksville this weekend ahead of a foot race.
The city expects more than 900 runners to participate in the Clarksville Half Marathon & 5K on Saturday.
The Clarksville Police Department announced Wednesday that the following areas will see closures on Saturday:
Riverside Drive southbound lanes will close at 5 a.m.
Downtown streets & APSU area will start closing at about 6:30 a.m.
Liberty Park will close until runners clear Cumberland Dr.
Highway 48 near Liberty Park and Public Square will close and reopen after the event.
Parking along the race route will be blocked starting at 4 a.m.
