Safi Dawood, 22, of Midhurst Gardens has been charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, and possession of an offensive weapon on Wednesday (October 29).

He will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 30 October.

It follows after three people were stabbed in Midhurst Gardens on Monday (October 27) at 5pm.

Medics treated Wayne Broadhurst, 49, who had reportedly been walking a dog at the time of the incident.

However he died at the scene.

Dawood and Wayne were not known to one another, the Metropolitan Police has said.
