The Chatham Maroons will put their perfect road record on the line again Friday in St. Marys.
The Maroons are 6-0-0-0 away from Chatham Memorial Arena. They’re the only team in the Greater Ontario Hockey League’s Western Conference without a road loss.
“We go into buildings and we’re prepared,” head coach and general manager Brennan Feasey said. “I think we’re maybe a little bit looser on the road.
“We want to make sure that teams coming into Memorial know it’s going to be a tough night. We don’t want it to be easy when teams come in here.”
The Maroons are 5-2-0-2 on home ice. They host the Strathroy Rockets Sunday at 7 p.m.
The Maroons (11-2-0-2) shared the conference lead with the Elmira Sugar Kings before Wednesday’s games.
They began the season with five straight wins, then lost
