Prashant Kishor, famously known as PK in political circles, remains an unavoidable figure in Bihar’s political landscape. Once one of India’s most sought-after political strategists, Kishor has now transformed himself into a full-time politician with the launch of Jan Suraaj, which will contest all 243 assembly seats in the upcoming state elections.

There had been widespread speculation that Kishor would contest from Raghopur, the assembly seat in Vaishali district long associated with former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. However, Kishor decided not to enter the fray himself.
