Danielle Miller-Winrow finds inspiration in helping her students discover their passions while providing them with an educational foundation to succeed.
“I don’t want cookie-cutter students,” said Miller-Winrow, headmaster of Sprout U School of the Arts in Trenton. “I want them to be able to be themselves and be comfortable with themselves. That’s the biggest thing because if you have confidence within yourself, you can do anything.”
Miller-Winrow, 59, of Trenton, started her private, academic, and arts-integrated school for students in grades pre-K to 12 in 2011.
“I want every kid that comes into Sprout to be successful. I want my students to have an end game, be up for the challenge, and have fun learning,” said Miller-Winrow, who has 45 students.
