RIPLEY COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A man was arrested over the weekend for sex crimes with a minor that allegedly happened more than two years ago.

According to online court records, Jason E. Coleman of Doniphan, Missouri was arrested on Sunday, October 26 for multiple felony charges, including first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree statutory rape and two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy.

The crimes reportedly happened in July 2023.

Court documents show that Coleman was being held at the Ripley County Detention Center on a $100,000 surety bond, but he posted it on October 27.

Per his bond conditions, Coleman is required to wear an ankle monitor and comply with his 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.

He is set to appear in court on December 3 at 9 a.m.
