HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Alaska Airlines is experiencing a disruption to key systems due to a global outage.
The airline announced Wednesday morning via “X,” that a global outage is impacting the Microsoft Azure platform where several Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines services are hosted.
The airline advised guests who are unable to check-in online due to the Microsoft Azure outage, to see an agent at the airport for a boarding pass and allow for some extra time in the lobby.
Online, Alaska and Hawaiian apologized for the inconvenience and asked for patience as the airline navigates the issue.
