“Thank you in Korean is kamsahamnida!” Lucy Walker, of Glastonbury, said.

Students are practicing their Korean greetings during Saturday school. All of them are part of the Korean School of Greater Hartford.

The nearly 80 students ranging in age from eight-year-old Mae Walker, who is learning to be in touch with her Korean mother’s family.

“I want to be able to understand them and see what they're talking about,” she said.
