A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Manchester Wednesday night.

The police department said a woman in her 30s has struck by a car on Center Street around 6:45 p.m.

A vehicle was traveling westbound when the crash happened. The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
