LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A Midlands man is once again behind bars after being wanted for the second time in three months.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said 27-year-old Cordell Wyman Clark, of Batesburg, was arrested Tuesday. He’s charged with first-degree assault, pointing and presenting a firearm as well as possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

An LCSD report obtained by WIS states Clark was involved in an Oct. 21 incident on Perry Taylor Road in Leesville. Deputies were called to the area after reports of loud arguing and gunfire.

Documents go on to state that deputies cleared the area and found a spent shotgun shell at the scene. A person identified as a witness reportedly said they saw Clark and two other people arguing in a front yard before Clark alleged
