The Knights of Columbus Council 3041 Fontana will be donating 160 coats for elementary age children to the city of Fontana. The Knights of Columbus and the city of Fontana will join to distribute the coats at the annual Dia De Los Muertos; A Festival of Life, Love and Remembrance event scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at Jack Bulik Center 16581 Filbert Street.
The Knights of Columbus Council 3041 has been in Fontana since 1947. Over the many years in Fontana, they have partnered with the city in community service activity such as the Fontana Little League program, which was started by the Knights many years ago, and was originally known as the Knights of Columbus Little League. For many years they operated a popular Bingo program in Fontana.
