The Swallows Charter Spartans hosted the Rye High School Thunderbolts on Tuesday, Oct. 28, in a key matchup between two 2A Santa Fe League opponents.
The Spartans came into the game looking for a big win over their league opponent, while the Thunderbolts were looking to get one more win to solidify their chances at a top seed in the playoffs.
The match between the two rivals was entertaining. Swallows Charter kept each game close with Rye High School, but eventually the Thunderbolts would pull away in each set, winning the match 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-16).
