CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Majestic Theatre has completed a significant roof replacement project, marking another milestone in the ongoing preservation of one of Ohio’s oldest operating theatres.
The project involved replacing the north, south, and west sections of the roof, along with new gutters and downspouts to improve drainage and protect the historic structure. The east section had been previously updated and was not part of this phase. Funding for the project came from the Robert E. & Genevieve B. Schaefer Fund with The Columbus Foundation and the Chillicothe-Ross Community Foundation.
