Terror organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed intensified its outreach and recruitment efforts this week — with Masood Azhar releasing a lengthy audio message. The clip came days after the Pakistan-based group launched an online course for women to learn about the “jihadi” lifestyle. Both developments are part of an extensive drive to “indoctrinate and recruit” candidates for its newly formed Jamat ul-Muminat female brigade.
According to reports, the JeM chief had outlined a detailed training plan that will see women being inducted into a long-term “global jihad” mission.
