Alberta RCMP say a 56-year-old man from Edmonton has been charged in connection with drug trafficking in Edmonton.

Mounties say they along with the Sheriff Investigative Support Unit Surveillance Team, executed a search warrant at a home near 127 Street and 130 Avenue in Edmonton on Oct. 28.

During the search, police were able to find and seize 18.9 grams of cocaine, six tablets of oxycondone, a .22 caliber handgun, ammunition, scales, 74 cartons of unstamped cigarettes, and $9,570 in cash.

As a result, police have charged 56-year-old Cory Fraser with several drug and firearm-related offences.
