KEMMERER -- The Rawlins swim team added three new state-qualifying performances during their fifth-place finish at 3A South Conference Championships last week.
Anna Johansson and Sophie Laird are headed to state as individual swimmers, with Matison Sanchez competing as a diver, in addition to the relay teams.
The conference meet in Kemmerer kicked off with the 200-meter medley relay, which Sanchez, Laird, Johansson and Jazlynn Sheets swam in two minutes, 35.39 seconds to take fifth place in the event. The group also took on the 200-meter freestyle relay, taking fourth with a time of 2:15.80.
Laird was the lone Outlaw representative in the individual medley where she swam a 10th-place 3:24.47. She also competed in the individual 400-meter freestyle, taking eighth with a time of 5:50.28.
