CHEYENNE -- The Rawlins Outlaws cross country team made school history last weekend with their best state finish ever.
At the 3A state meet, the boys took third of 15 teams behind only Mountain View and Buffalo. The girls came in sixth, with reigning champions Cody claiming their second state title in a row.
Sophomore Noah Blasi, current Rawlins record holder, capped off his historic season with All-State honors after leading the Outlaws in his sixth-place run. He finished in 17 minutes, 34.30 seconds, beating his time from last year's state competition by over a full minute.
Wilk Tanner (18th, 18:25.30), Benson Tanner (28th, 18:56.20), Logan Wells (33rd, 19:05.20), Bryce Johnston (38th, 19:08.70), Mitchell Nott (50th, 19:36.80) and David York (56th, 19:58.70) all contributed to the boy
