AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine's Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday a new statewide model for mental health consultations for the state's youngest kids.
DHHS wrote in a release that "ECE Consultation for ME " officially launched on July 1, 2025. They call it "more than just a name change."
The new statewide model for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) builds on the foundation of the Early Childhood Consultation Partnership, and expands and tailors services to meet the unique needs of Maine's early learning programs, classrooms, families, and communities.
