CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Wednesday was the first full day of jury selection in the trial of the men accused of killing Scott Brooks, the co-owner of Brooks Sandwich House in NoDa nearly six years ago.
Publicity in the case isn’t the only challenge in picking a jury.
It turns out there’s something much more complicated for potential jurors, and that’s all the issues going on in their lives.
