GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island man’s case will continue through the court system after he was accused of sexually assaulting his stepdaughter.
Local4 will not identify the man in order to protect the identity of the victim.
The 36-year-old man waived his preliminary hearing on four felony charges , including incest, first-degree sexual assault of a child, forcible sexual assault and intentional child abuse.
Court documents indicate that the 18-year-old victim told police she was assaulted numerous times over the years starting when she was 9 years old.
The victim told police that she was forced into sexual intercourse and oral sex. She also reported the last assault happened earlier this year, police said.
