HANOVER, N.H. (ABC22/FOX44) - According to the Hanover Fire Department, one person was injured at an assisted living facility in Hanover on Wednesday.
Firefighters say they responded to the scene at 32 Buck Road at 11:21 a.m. Wednesday. The address is the site of the Wheelock Terrace assisted living and memory care community.
According to authorities, the explosion took place in a mechanical area of the building, and one worker was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. However, the heating system reportedly sustained major damage.
Because the building currently has no heat, residents are now reportedly being relocated until repairs are complete.
