NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. — A 40-year-old Muskegon man died Wednesday in Newaygo County after a crash on M-37 Highway, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash occurred near 22 Mile, in Ashland Township when the 40-year-old motorcyclist hit a pickup truck.
The truck, driven by a 35-year-old Grand Rapids man, had been turning onto 22 Mile Road from M-37 when the motorcyclist struck the truck, according to authorities.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, there were no other injuries.
“The investigation into this crash is on going,” said F/Lt. Mike Shaw. “It doesn’t appear that drugs or alcohol are a factor. The investigation pends ME reports and further crash investigation.”
