DENVER (KDVR) — A father detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement while taking his two children to school is no longer in Colorado, the federal agency told FOX31 on Wednesday.

Fernando Jaramillo-Solano, 45, of Colombia, was reportedly taking his two children, ages 12 and 15, to school when ICE agents detained all three.

On Wednesday, ICE provided FOX31 with a statement on Jaramillo-Solano's case, sharing that he was no longer in the state. The agency said that it could not tell FOX31 where the children are located, but said that the Dilley facility is designed to house families.

The Dilley ICE Processing Center is also where the family of Boulder firebombing suspect Mohamed Sabry Soliman was taken by ICE, with the agency citing similar reasons.
