JANESVILLE, Wis. (WKOW) -- Police in Janesville arrested a 21-year-old man for child pornography possession, months after they collected evidence in the case.

Caleb Waite was arrested October 29th on five counts of possession of child pornography, according to the Janesville Police Department.

The arrest stems from evidence collected during a search warrant on April 16. On that day, police searched a home in the 600 block of North Pearl Street and seized electronics for a forensic examination. Police say when the evidence was returned, detectives determined there was probable cause to arrest Waite.

Waite is now in the Rock County Jail, waiting for his initial court appearance.
