The sectional championships will take place on Saturday at four locations across the state — Manalapan, St. Thomas Aquinas, Scotch Plains-Fanwood, and Hillsborough.
The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association identified the top 32 teams determined by power points that would qualify for the sectional meets. These teams were snake-seeded into four sectional tournaments.
The sectional meets will only hand out team awards this year. The team with the highest score at each meet will be crowned champion and qualify for the State Team Championships on Thursday, Nov. 6. Along with the four champions, the teams with the next best four scores from all sections will qualify.
