LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Hip-hop producer Jamal Rashid, also known as "Mally Mall," was in federal custody Wednesday, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.
Court records show that Rashid faces possible revocation of his supervised release, meaning a judge will decide whether he should serve the remainder of his sentence in prison. U.S. District Court Judge Gloria Navarro sentenced Rashid to 33 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release on May 13, 2021, after he pleaded guilty to one count of use of an interstate facility in aid of unlawful activity. Rashid admitted the escort services he ran in Clark County between 2002 and 2014 were fronts for prostitution.
