Park City Toastmasters will host executive speaking coach and TED/TEDx expert John Bates for a special, interactive program 5:30-6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Park City Library, Room 301 (1255 Park Ave).

Bates will be talking about the importance of everyone having a well-crafted “origin story” as a powerful leadership tool and a way to connect with any audience, anytime. He is recognized for training hundreds of TED/TEDx speakers and thousands of senior leaders, drawing on communication methods grounded in neurobiology and practical leadership principles.

“Your origin story is about positioning: why people should trust you, what you stand for, and how you are can you help people,” Bates said
