BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

A Birmingham man is in jail after police say he threatened to kill an officer.

On Sunday, police became aware of a social media post in which the suspect made statements about killing a Birmingham Police Officer.

After an investigation, Ontarius Jemelle Chester, 28, was located on Monday and arrested in the 2600 block of Avenue G in Ensley.

He is in the Birmingham City Jail charged with making a terroristic threat.
