Phoenix-area district moves forward with anti

Peoria Unified School District is moving forward with a policy that would restrict the training programs its teachers can use.

The policy discussed at an Oct. 23 board meeting would prevent the district from funding or endorsing any staff training programs or conferences that focus on "DEI principles, Culturally Responsive Learning, Restorative Practices and Critical Race Theory," according to district documents.
