ESKO, Minn.- Britta Koski is not hard to miss on the field. She rocks two different colored cleats and is a big part in almost every goal for the Esko girls soccer team.

“One of Britta’s strengths is being able to see the game before the game even really happens. She can see where that pass needs to go to get to the player. Even sometimes before they’ve made the run,” said head coach Sharon Lahti.

In the teams first 17 games, she has nine goals and seven assists. As for what she prefers?

“Obviously, I’ve been able to find the back of the net a few times. But, I think I am more valuable to be able to distribute to my teammates and let them put more in the back of the net,” said Koski.

A selfless leader that adjusts to what the team wants her to be.
