THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A horrific incident of a son slitting his mother's throat has come to light in Nemom. The incident happened at Kalliyoor under Nemom police station limits. The dead is Vijayakumari (74). The police have taken her son Ajaya Kumar into custody. The liquor bottle fell on the ground and broke when the accused was consuming alcohol. When his mother questioned him about this, he killed her by slitting her throat with a glass piece. Ajaya Kumar is a former coast guard officer.
