HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Former Kentucky Men’s Basketball player, Lamont Butler, announced via social media on October 29 that he will miss the 2025-2026 season due to a torn ACL and Meniscus.

Butler was waived by the Atlanta Hawks before the start of the NBA season but signed with their G-League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks.

He will now miss the 2025-2026 season.
