India's ODI vice-captain Shreyas Iyer has provided a positive update on his recovery after suffering a rib injury during the third ODI against Australia in Sydney. The 29-year-old batter, who was admitted to the ICU following the incident, took to social media to thank fans for their wishes and assured them that he is making steady progress.

"I'm currently in the recovery process and getting better, every passing day. I'm deeply grateful to see all the kind wishes and support I've received - it truly means a lot. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts," Iyer wrote on social media.
