The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Rural Livelihood Mission (ANIRLM), in collaboration with the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad, organized a four-day training programme on Integrated Farming Clusters (IFC) at the Community Development Block, Prothrapur. The programme is aimed at building the capacities of newly recruited staff, block-level functionaries, and members of Self Help Groups (SHGs).
Inaugurating the training, Dr. Apurva Sharma, Director (Rural Development), highlighted the significance of integrated farming as a sustainable model for livelihood enhancement. He emphasized that the approach not only boosts income diversification but also strengthens the resilience of rural households. D
