The ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (CIARI) and its Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) at North & Middle Andaman, South Andaman, and Nicobar observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 , under the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility.” The observance aimed to promote awareness among rural communities about their rights and duties while fostering a culture of integrity and collective responsibility in combating corruption.

At KVK North & Middle Andaman, Dr. V. Damodaran, Senior Scientist and Head, administered the integrity pledge and underscored the importance of transparency and accountability in public life. The event witnessed participation from 35 villagers from nearby areas.
