Bhopal: A major scandal has rocked the Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters (PHQ) after a serving Woman Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) was booked for allegedly stealing cash and a mobile phone from her friend’s house. DSP Kalpana Raghuvanshi is now absconding following the registration of the theft case.
The complaint, filed at the Jehangirabad police station, states that the victim left her mobile phone charging and went to take a bath. During this time, DSP Raghuvanshi allegedly entered the house and stole a mobile phone and Rs. 2 lakhs in cash from a bag.
Crucially, the accused DSP was captured on the house’s CCTV system entering the premises, and the footage clearly shows her leaving with wads of currency notes in her hand.
