New Delhi: Shreyas Iyer could be out of action for a longer time than what was initially expected after suffering a spleen injury during the third ODI between India and Australia.
He ran backwards from point to take a difficult catch to dismiss Alex Carey but suffered the injury when he hit the ground with the ball in his hands on Saturday.
