WA Police treating death of baby as suspicious after grim discovery at home in Baldivis, Perth

A baby has been found dead at home in Perth , with police treating the incident as suspicious and a woman assisting detectives.

Officers and paramedics were called to the property in Baldivis, in the city’s southern suburbs, about 10.15am on Thursday.

“Sadly, upon arrival, an eight-month-old infant was located deceased,” WA Police said.

Detectives are at the home and are treating the death as suspicious.

Police say there is no ongoing risk to the community.
