The Los Angeles Lakers secured a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in their second game of the season. Wednesday was expected to be a chance for the Timberwolves to redeem themselves. However, fortune did not favor them even before tip-off, as Anthony Edwards was ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

Without Edwards in the lineup, the Timberwolves suffered a 115-116 defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers at Target Center.
