WASHINGTON - The state of Washington is moving forward in its efforts to create a cleaner transportation future with $19.4 million allocated to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The Department of Commerce announced that the funds from the Washington Electric Vehicle Charging Program will support the development of new Level 2 and DC fast-charging stations across various locations.
These locations include communities, multifamily housing, workplaces, tribal sites and public agency sites. The goal is to establish a reliable charging network aimed at reducing transportation emissions in the state.
