New Delhi: Sukhdev Yadav, also known as Pehalwan, who served 20 years in prison for his role in the Nitish Katara murder case, died in a motorcycle accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district on Tuesday district, just months after walking free.
According to reports, the crash took place near the Turk Patti area when the motorcycle Sukhdev was riding collided head-on with a Mahindra Scorpio SUV coming from the opposite direction. Two men travelling with him, Vijay Gupta and Bhagwat Singh, were injured and admitted to a local hospital.
Investigations underway
