The Mumbai Traffic Police on Wednesday, October 29, announced that traffic restrictions in several parts of the city ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit. The Prime Minister is taking part in India Maritime Week 2025 at NESCO Exhibition Centre at Goregaon East.

Traffic will be restricted in several parts of the city from 2 pm to 9 pm. This is "to ensure smooth vehicular movement and security of VVIP convoys as well as to avoid traffic congestions," the traffic police said.

Movement of Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) will be completely prohibited on both South and North bound carriageways of the Western Express Highway, from Vakola Flyover to Dahisar Toll Naka.
